Anthony Michael Pisani, of Anthony M. Pisani & Associates, Architects, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Architecture.

Founded in 1978, Mr. Pisani’s firm has been featured by Boston Design Guide for its “stunning contemporary residential and commercial buildings in the greater New England area.” The firm is particularly known for its design of a contemporary Carlisle home along the Concord River, which uses mostly indigenous, long-lasting materials in a unique radial shape. Mr. Pisani has been involved with major projects in the Eastern U.S., Ireland, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Japan. He is the recipient of a Marquis Who’s Who Humanitarian Award, and is recognized as a Marquis Industry Expert. Mr. Pisani has appeared in the pages of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in the East, Who’s Who in the World, and Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America.

Born to Anthony Joseph and Josephine Ann Pisani in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Mr. Pisani studied with the Museum School and earned a BFA from Tufts University in 1966. He married Emilia D’Agostino in 1967, and had Emiliabianca and Giancarlo. In 1971, Mr. Pisani earned a Master of Architecture from Harvard University, and joined the firm of Kallmann and McKinell, Architects, in Boston for two years.  In 1973, he became a project architect with Charles G. Hilgenhurst & Associates, and then to Desmond & Lord, Architects in 1974. Mr. Pisani was able to become president of his own architectural firm in 1978. He also taught design with the Boston Architectural Center, and served as vice-chairman of the Boston Landmarks Commission from 1987 to 1995.

Since 1998, Mr. Pisani has been a member of the Boston Zoning Board of Appeals, and has contributed to numerous industry publications. He has supported the American Institute of Architects, the Boston Society of Architects, the Construction Specifications Institute, the Urban Land Institute, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and the Society of Architectural Historians. Mr. Pisani is a registered architect in the states of Massachusetts, California, Maine, Michigan, New York, New Hampshire, Texas, and Vermont.
