Ms. Rosales is extremely proud of starting her business from the garage of her home and building it into a multi-platform Spanish media company. Founded in 2002 with her husband Orlando, Media Vista began as a local program called “D’Latinos,” airing on the Ft. Myers-Naples UPN affiliate for a half hour every week. The show was a success, growing quickly into a daily half-hour show airing every weekday. In the wake of their success, the couple launched a Spanish lifestyle magazine called D’Latinos Magazine, as well as as a Spanish website and portal. They were convinced from the outset of the benefits and advantages of media on multiple platforms, and now Ms. Rosales has the responsibility of overseeing the company and motivating others to strive for excellence.

Ms. Rosales attributes her success to hard work, determination, and wanting to inform others. She immigrated to the U.S. from Maracaibo, Venezuela with her husband, and was originally trained in journalism. Ms. Rosales earned a degree in the field in 1993, and has since accrued over 15 years of experience managing a multimedia company. While D’Latinos Magazine covers lifestyle topics, Media Vista’s website offers more traditional news, including storm warnings and local traffic updates. The website is particularly useful to new arrivals in the Florida area, who may not have a grasp of the English language. features a dedicated contact page for immigration assistance.

In 2006, Ms. Rosales partnered with a Miami, Florida investor to bring the Azteca America affiliate to southwest Florida, and in 2010 her company gained complete control of the station. Ms. Rosales went on to acquire Univision affiliates in southwest Florida, Minneapolis, and Kansas City in 2013, opening brand new vistas for her company. Like its namesake, Media Vista Group is growing by quantum leaps and bounds, expanding Spanish language news coverage and putting these stations in the hands of the Spanish speaking community. Now a successful media executive, Ms. Rosales enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and reading.
