Sonia Sarreals, Data Processing Executive, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in technology.

Ms. Sarreals has set an example in her career as a consummate professional in leading projects and consulting on technology. Throughout more than five decades of her career, she has worked as a systems engineer with famed technology company IBM and as a valued technology consultant at Teksys. In addition, Ms. Sarreals has worked as a lead technical analyst with Automated Concepts Inc., as a senior analyst with AT&T and as a staff data processing consultant for Cincinnati Bell Information Systems. Furthermore, she has lead projects with Touche Ross and contributed as a senior programmer for McGraw-Hill, Inc.

While technology has long interested Ms. Sarreals, she was first interested in languages. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in languages from the City College of New York. Ms. Sarreals graduated summa cum laude in 1960. In 1961, she received a certification in French from Sorbonne, Paris. Learning a foreign language is not dissimilar from the language of technology, and her choice to go into technology has served her well throughout the years. She has developed a robust skill set throughout the years.

Outside of the technology world and languages, Ms. Sarreals enjoys needlecrafts and sewing. She was recognized as the Dickman Institute Fellow from Columbia University in the early 1960s. In 1960, she also became a Downer Scholar with the City University of New York. She maintains membership with Phi Beta Kappa and has been an elder with the St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
