Jane E.S. Wright, Assistant Manager at The Hospitals Auxiliary of Bermuda, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Nonprofit Organization Management.
At the Hospitals Auxiliary of Bermuda, Ms. Wright manages one of the largest and oldest volunteer agencies of the Bermuda Hospitals Board, donating over 40 thousand hours of service annually and contributing millions of dollars to area hospitals. The agency is known for their “Pink Ladies and Men” and the “Candy Stripers,” friendly and familiar volunteers in the chapels, care units, information desks, and other prominent positions. Currently, the group has been active with Pinnacle International Events Ltd since 2015. Ms. Wright is the owner of Pinnacle International, and has served in her role since September of 2017, bringing with her 37 years of experience in event management, union negotiations, construction agreement negotiations, and philanthropy.
Born in Epsom Surrey, England, Ms. Wright was a prefect at the Bermuda High School for Girls, and attended the Gilbert Institute before earning a business degree from the Pitmans College. She has worked with a vast variety of organizations, from law firms to the IYRU Nautical World Sailing Championships, as chair of the Montessori Education Trust, and even as a commodore of the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club. She served for eight years as a board member of the ISAF Match Race Committee, helping to organize sailing in Bermuda with chairs John Doerr and Henry Menin. She worked for the Consumer Affairs Bureau from 2010 to 2012, and as governor of CedarBridge Academy before becoming owner of Pinnacle International Events in 2015.
Ms. Wright has supported the Bermuda Civic Ballet, the Bermuda Music and Dramatic Society, and the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club. She cares deeply about arts, culture, children, civil rights, social action, and economic empowerment. Ms. Wright attributes her success to her mentor, Diana Kempe, and her business partner, Dennis. She is particularly proud of being awarded a contract to design, build, and tender a cruise ship deck in Coxen Hole, Honduras, in 2010. She has also helped to fund and build a children’s playground, and helped to rebuild the track for the Bermuda Motocross Association. Ms. Wright is the proud mother of Danielle and Max.
