Since 2016, Mr. Frank has been equity partner with Blank Rome, an American law firm serving clients across the world with approximately 600 attorneys and clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to innovative start-ups. His expertise is in international law, and since 1992 has served as chairman of the International and Comparative Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. Frank is a Marquis Who’s Who Industry Expert, and has appeared in the pages of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the East, Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America, and Who’s Who in the World.
Mr. Frank was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania to William John and Louise Frank. He worked to develop an exemplary academic background, first with a BSChemE from Carnegie Mellon University in 1969, then with a JD from Duke University in 1972. From 1972 to 1993 he worked to the title of partner with the Buchanan Ingersoll Professional Corporation in Pittsburgh, joining Babst, Clland, Clements & Zomnir PC in 1993. Mr. Frank partnered with Reed Smith LLP from 2000 to 2016, when he joined Blank Rome. He has also held a seat with the board of directors of SinterMet LLC and Meri Track LLC.
Mr. Frank has given back to his alma mater as chairman of the National Fundraising Committee of the illustrious Carnegie Mellon University from 1983 to 1988. Additionally, he has advised the university’s School of Engineering and Science, and is a member of the board of visitors at Duke University School of Law. Mr. Frank is a respected member of the board of advisors for the Center for International Legal Education. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association, the International Bar Association, the Duquesne Club, and the Shannopin Country Club. Mr. Frank is the husband of Marsha Ann Kolesar. He enjoys golf, amateur radio, and computers.
