Born to Ralph and Margaret Hettick, Mr. Hettick is an alumnus of Illinois State University and a graduate of the American Bankers Association Compliance and Graduate Compliance Schools. He was certified as a regulatory compliance manager by the Institute of Certified Bankers. He is a member of the Mississippi Regulatory Compliance Group, the Open Compliance Committee of the American Bankers Association, and the Chief Compliance Officer Group of the Midsize Bank Coalition. Mr. Hettick is also a volunteer with his local community Christian church, and hopes to be remembered as someone who is willing to make changes.
Mr. Hettick is looking forward to retirement, when he will transition into volunteer work. He wants to put more time into the Christian Action & Relief for Haiti (C.A.R.H.A.) organization, where he is president and on the board of directors. Mr. Hettick has participated on several missions to Haiti. In his free time, Mr. Hettick likes to read and watch college football, especially Florida State. He is the father of Daryl and Gerald with his wife, Carol, and the grandfather of Andrew and Matthew. Mr. Hettick now has four great-grandchildren, Ayden, Owen, Benjamin, and Waylon. His family is one of the most important things in his life.
