Bishop Jackson Vaughn Plant, of Plant Ministries, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Religion.
Mr. Plant founded Plant ministries in 2014, after a lifetime of service as a pastor and minister. He is ordained as a bishop with the Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee, and experienced the highlight of his career when he was asked to speak before the Maryland legislature about biblical views on homosexual marriage. Mr. Plant served to the rank of petty officer with the First Class Petty Service of the U.S. Navy from 1988 to 2008, and was a minister on the USS Kitty Hawk as well as a pastor in Yokosuka, Japan for the Christian Servicemen Center and the Yokohama Ministry to the Military. He credits God, his wife Julie, and his family for his success.
A Marquis Who’s Who Industry Expert, Mr. Plant has appeared in seven editions of Who’s Who in America. He was born in Tallahassee, Florida, and was a visiting pastor and youth pastor of the First Assembly of God in the ‘90s before joining the Navy. Since 2016, he has served as a guitarist on staff with the Grace Point Fellowship in Harlingen. In 2004, he became the founder of Plant Designz, which provides photography, graphic arts, and web design.
