Ronald John Nowe, Sr., State Legislator, Small Business Owner, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Conservation.
Mr. Nowe holds the honor of being one of four men to ever receive the Centennial Award from the Wildlife Federation for his work as a legislator and chairman of the wildlife and marine resources committee of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He is also the proprietor of a number of businesses in the state, including Oak Grove Golfing, the Third Street Grocery, the Kamper Kampania Kampground, and the Now Insurance Agency. He is a recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and has appeared in numerous Marquis Who’s Who publications, including 11 editions of Who’s Who in American Politics.
A native of nearby Gloucester, MA, Mr. Nowe studied at Hesser College. In addition to his role in the legislature, he has contributed to the Public Water Access Advisory Board and is vice chair of the Epping Planning Board. Since 2001, he has volunteered as a deputy sheriff and field training officer in Hudson. Mr. Nowe is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, and the Masons. He was a junior vice commander of the Disabled American Veterans from 1983 to 1994.
