David L. Glass, Esq., MBA, Division Director of the Macquarie Group Ltd., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Business Law.
Mr. Glass was recognized with a 2013 David Caplan Memorial Award for Distinguished Service to the Business Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, and would like to be remembered as someone with the highest ethical standards and who never cuts corners. He has distinguished himself with his ability to connect to people and being active in his bar association.
An alumnus of Fordham Law School, Mr. Glass earned a JD in 1979 and also holds a MBA from Stanford University. He has taught with the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, as well as a previous role at Macquarie as head of RMD compliance for the Americas. His role in the development of business policies in the U.S., Canada, and Brazil was complemented by his role as a former chair of the New York State Bar Association banking law committee, as well as his role as editor-in-chief of the organization’s Business Law Journal. Mr. Glass has also been the chair of 4500 members of the association’s business law section.
Specializing in banking and financial services, Mr. Glass has been retained as a special counsel of Hinman, Howard & Kattell in White Plains, New York. He is a valued advisor of banks and financial institutions, and is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell. As an important member of the Macquarie Group, Mr. Glass advises management while overseeing relationships with banking regulators like the U.S. Federal Reserve.
