Mr. Capraro has been offering accounting services in Miami since 1966, and became a partner of his current firm in 1996. Originally from Germany, he came to the U.S. in 1959. Mr. Capraro was named Honorary Conch by the City of Key West in 1987, the same year he received a Certificate of Appreciation from the City of Miami Beach.  He has appeared in Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, and Who’s Who in the World.

After arriving in the U.S., Mr. Capraro earned a BBA, cum laude, from the University in Miami in 1964, and became a partner of Deloitte Haskins & Sells, now Deloitte & Touche, from 1966 to 1984. He was executive vice president of the Wolfson Initiative Corp. until 1995, and held the role of vice president with a string of different companies. After working in private practice for one year, he became a partner of his current firm. Mr. Capraro is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of CPAs, and Schlaraffia Costa Aurea, where he was treasurer from 1986 to 1987.

Mr. Capraro served to the rank of first lieutenant with the Army Financial Corps in France from 1965 to 1966, and attended the 1993 National Security Forum of the U.S. Air War College in Montgomery, AL. He was named a life member of the U.S. Air War College Alumni Association, and has given his time to the executive committee of the University of Miami Citizens Board. Mr. Capraro has been treasurer of the Mitchell Wolfson Family Foundation of Miami since 1985, and served on the board of directors of the Louis Wolfson II Media History Center until 1995. He is also a former trustee of the Greater Miami Opera Finance Committee, and former treasurer of the Journal of Decorative and Propaganda Arts of Miami.
