Betty Casbeer Carroll, Application Developer (Retired), has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in application development.

Ms. Casbeer Carroll is recognized for her proficiency in every project and position she has taken on. Working in roles that utilized her development skills, as well as her writing and accounting skills, she has aided in the development of computer programs, provided tax services, and managed offices. Some of her most significant achievements include representing and winning every case for her union and protecting a secretary that had been assaulted at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base by a major. Driven to always do what she felt was right, Ms. Casbeer Carroll is involved in mentoring others, leading discussion groups, and writing books.

Ms. Casbeer Carroll graduated from San Antonio College with an Associate of Arts in 1956, later earning a Bachelor of Arts in liberal arts from Wright State University in 1976. She worked as an office manager and accountant for Civilian Building and Supply for a number of years before joining Rignanese, Shannon & Horn CPA, followed by Air Flow Heating and Air Conditioning. In 1970, she joined Wright-Patterson Air Force Base as a computer specialist and programmer, holding this position until 1995.

From 1991 to 1995, Ms. Casbeer Carroll served as president of her union. After her time at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, she provided her services for Southern Ohio Growth Partnership and STAR Financial Bank. She has written numerous books, including the popular “Foothill Spirits” series, and she was recognized in “Feminists Who Changed America.” Looking toward the future, Ms. Casbeer Carroll is planning to write her own memoir.
