Michael Swisher, Chief Executive Officer and President of Bayport Printing House, Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in publishing.

Mr. Swisher has more than four decades of experience in the printing industry. He is the third generation family business owner and has been committed to the Bayport Printing House, Inc. since 1973. In addition to his career in publishing, he has held a directorship role with the First State Bank and Trust, the Universal Financial Services and Valley Agencies. Mr. Swisher has also been the Chairman of the Board for Valley Agencies, Inc. On a civic level, Mr. Swisher has provided his services as the Director and Chairman of the Board of the Religion and Society Foundation.

Mr. Swisher earned degrees from Vanderbilt University and the University of Minnesota. Growing up in a family business atmosphere also meant that he learned a great deal from watching his relatives navigate the entrepreneurial landscape. Mr. Swisher’s work and interests have caught the attention of several organizations that have recognized him. He received the Helen Keller Sight Award from the Minnesota Lions Eye Bank and was named an Officer of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of t. John of Jerusalem. In addition, he has been named a fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland and as a Kentucky Colonel.

Outside of his publishing work, Mr. Swisher maintains affiliation with a number of organizations. Since 2017, he has been the Governor General of the Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims. He is also involved with the University Club of St. Paul, the University Club of San Francisco, the Arts Club of Washington, D.C., and the Minnesota Lions Club. Mr. Swisher is active with a number of lodges. Furthermore, he is a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, the General Society of the War of 1812, the Society of Colonial Wars, the Order of Founders and Patriots of America, the National Order of the Blue and Grey and the Hereditary Order of the Descendants of Loyalists and Patriots of America.
