George Eugene Mikhailovsky, Ph.D., Principal Systems Analyst at CALIBRE, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in marine ecology and biological oceanography.

Drawing upon more than five decades of professional experience, Dr. Mikhailovsky is a widely regarded expert in marine ecology, biological oceanography, graphs, plankton ecology, zooplankton and biothermodynamics. He has been credited with the discovery of the general law of complification, as well as the discovery of the law of congruous attraction, among other career accomplishments. At the present moment, Dr. Mikhailovsky serves as a principal systems analyst with CALIBRE, a consultancy that offers services in business management, business analysis, software creation and database administration.

Since the inception of his career, Dr. Mikhailovsky has contributed numerous articles to professional journals pertaining to his areas of focus. In addition, he has contributed two chapters as a co-author of “HUBE: Habitability of the Universe before Earth.” His most recent publications include “Life and Its Organization in the Pelagial of the World Ocean,” “A View of the Biosphere,” “Biological Monitoring in Coastal Waters of the White Sea,” “Description and Assessment of Plankton Communities’ Condition” and “Elements of Biological Thermodynamics.”

Dr. Mikhailovsky completed formal education at Lomonosov Moscow State University, where he received a Master of Science in biophysics and physiology in 1966 and Ph.D. in biophysics in 1969. He went on to complete a Doctor of Science through the P.P. Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the USSR Academy of Science in 1983. Early in his career, Dr. Mikhailovsky served as a professor with Irkutsk State University and leading researcher with the P.P. Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the USSR Academy of Science. Presently, he serves as a principal systems analyst with CALIBRE, and as president and CEO of Global Mind Share.

In recognition of his many career accomplishments, Dr. Mikhailovsky was selected to receive a Certificate of Achievement from CALIBRE in 2014. He was previously named among 5,000 Outstanding Scientists of Russia by the Government of the Russian Federation in 1995.
