Living by his father and grandfather-in-law’s advice to give any task he chooses his best effort and to remember that helping others is more important than money, Mr. Isacoff has used his career in law and finance for good. He is credited with taking down banking institutions for fraud and for saving more than 50 houses from the housing crisis in 2007 and 2008, as well as for handling more than 1,200 bankruptcies. He is currently uses his experience in his roles as a financial adviser and planner for MW Financial Group, Ltd., and as a senior vice president, director of corporate staff, and corporate secretary for the Provident Bank of Maryland. He attributes his ongoing success to his work ethic.
Mr. Isacoff began his journey at Clark University, where he completed coursework in 1970. He proceeded to earn a Bachelor of Arts in 1972 and a JD at Western New England College in 1977. Mr. Isacoff is admitted to practice in the state of Massachusetts and the United States District Court of the District of Massachusetts. He also holds a security license and a series 66 license, as well as membership with prominent professional organizations such as the American Bar Association.
While Mr. Isacoff was in school, he accrued hands-on work in his field as a trust officer at the Third National Bank. He was promoted to vice president of human resources in 1977, and held the position until 1980. During that time, he also served as a financial planner in his own practice in Springfield, MA, and for two years following he worked as a corporate secretary and the director of human recourses for Aspen Systems Corporation. Mr. Isacoff has also been an instructor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a member of the allocations committee for the United Way of Pioneer Valley, and a member of the financial committee of PBS-WGBY TV. In addition to his work in the industry, Mr. Isacoff was part of the 26th Infantry Division of the U.S. National Guard.
