Jimmy Mui, Architect and Network Marketing Executive, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in architecture.
Since 2004, Mr. Mui has been a senior manager of IVI International, Inc., CBRE, and he has served as the principal architect of his firm, J.K. Mui Design, since 1989. In these positions, he utilizes 40 years of experience gained in various roles. As a registered architect in the state of New York, Mr. Mui has worked for the Department of Health, the Department of Housing Preservation and Development, and the New York City Department of Education. He has also worked as an architect and drafter for Bradley Corporate Park and as an intern architect for Niagara Frontier. Mr. Mui has also held such roles as president of Mui Enterprises and as a construction manager with Fedayeen Construction Company, LLC.
Mr. Mui earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Buffalo in 1982, continuing at the institution for postgraduate coursework. He had always been interested in creating, having worked as an architecture aide for the Department of Health in the city of New York in 1978. Mr. Mui became involved in his profession after initially being in engineering, realizing after a year that he didn’t want to pursue the engineering field. Mr. Mui liked architecture and drawing and believed that he found his calling in this line of work. He attributes his success to enjoying what he does.
During his education, Mr. Mui received a Regent Scholarship Award from New York State and a Husted Eward Scholarship from the State University of New York. Since 2005, he has served as the president of the Moy Shee Family Association and has been the board director of the Moy’s Family Association since 2002. In addition, Mr. Mui has been involved with HKSA NYU.
