She picked up everything she had, sold her Camaro, cashed out of her 401K, and moved to New York. Originally expecting to be there for nine months, but her plans changed and she made her career in the city and has been there ever since.
In 1993, Ms. Harmon was recognized for her work with the IRS, receiving the Chief Counsel Award for Service as Special Counsel. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association. Looking to the future, Ms. Harmon hopes to be remembered as a thoughtful and knowledgeable tax attorney who was approachable and really cared about her team’s progress.
