Roger L. Cason, Retired Chemical Company Executive, Educator and Consultant, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in consultative services and engineering.

An esteemed figure in his industry, Mr. Cason has accrued more than 50 years of professional excellence in his areas of expertise. A consultant for both profit and nonprofit organizations from 1993 to 2009, he formerly held positions in several capacities for DuPont from 1955 to 1992, including principal consultant, business analysis manager, staff business analyst, senior mechanical engineer, production supervisor, mechanical supervisor, engineer, and supervisor. His professional pursuits have led him across the United States in such locations as West Virginia, Texas, and Delaware.

In preparation for his illustrious career, Mr. Cason sought a formal education, first obtaining a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, with high distinction, from the University of Rochester in 1951. He followed this accomplishment with a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from the same academic institution in 1952. After serving in the Civil Engineering Corps in the U.S. Navy for three years and gaining hands-on experience in his field, he returned to his studies to earn a Master of Business Administration from the University of Delaware in 1977 and Master of Arts in liberal studies from the University of Delaware in 1998. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Delaware.

A contributor of articles to professional journals, Mr. Cason previously served as the treasurer of the Delaware Chamber Music Festival from 2000 to 2004. In addition, he has maintained affiliation with several industry-related organizations, including several roles with the National Model Railroad Association, Inc., such as regional president from 2008 to 2010, regional secretary from 2006 to 2008, development manager from 2006 to 2008, national trustee from 2004 to 2005, and regional director from 2000 to 2004. Furthermore, he was a commander of the Wilmington Sail and Power Squadron from 1988 to 1989 and 1995 to 1996, as well as an acclaimed member of Tau Beta Pi, Phi Beta Kappa, Sigma Xi, Beta Gamma Sigma, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Married to June Ely Macnabb since 1952, Mr. Cason is the proud father of three children and grandfather of five grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys playing bridge, traveling, photography, and model building. Notably, he has been named a Worldwide Humanitarian and Lifetime Achiever by Worldwide Branding and Marquis Who’s Who, and he has been inducted into several editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, and Who’s Who in the East.
