Mr. Furcon is an admired businessman with more than 50 years of professional experience in his areas of expertise. The director of research and consulting with the Center for Public Safety at Northwestern University since 2014, he has also served as the cofounder of Letd Well LLC since 2012, president of Transforming Talent Organization, Inc., since 2009, and principal of PwC since 2001. Earlier in his career, he held several prominent roles with the University of Chicago, including as a research psychologist, division director, member of the Human Resources Center, and project director.

To prepare for his career, Mr. Furcon pursued a formal education, receiving a Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University in 1963. After serving as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army for two years, he graduated from DePaul University with a Master of Arts in psychology. Mr. Furcon concluded his education in 1970, earning a Master of Business Administration from the Booth Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago.

A contributor of several articles to esteemed journals, Mr. Furcon has also served as an author, coauthor, and editor of several publications through such publishers as the U.S. Department of Justice and the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago. In recognition of his exceptional achievements, he was honored with the President’s Award from the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police in 2009. In addition, he was selected for inclusion in several editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the Midwest, and Who’s Who in the World.
