With 45 years of professional experience in the communications industry, Mr. Scott was the president of Scott & Company from 1985 to 1987 and since 1990. In addition to this appointment, he was a consultant with the Ford Consumer Experience Movement from 2014 to 2016, a consultant with GM Standards Excellence Program from 2004 to 2012, and an organizational development consultant with the Fine Arts Magnet Program at Tulsa Public Schools from 2008 to 2011. Commencing his career as a sportswriter for the Chicago Sun-Times and magazine editor for The Williams Companies, he has also held such roles as an outdoor recreation and environment editor, vice president, and marketing communications manager.

To prepare for his celebrated career, Mr. Scott pursued an education at the University of Missouri, earning a Bachelor of Journalism in 1969. Alongside his primary endeavors, he has also been a prolific author, coauthoring “Child for Rent” in 2012 and writing and producing “Bringing it Home” in 1994. He has also been an editor of the newsletter Case Collector’s Club from 1995 to 1998 and a writer and producer of Fishin’ Magazine in 1997.

In recognition of his exceptional accomplishments, Mr. Scott was the recipient of the Vision Award in 2000, 2001, and 2002. In addition, he received the Telly Award in 1994 and 1997, and he was named Conservation Communicator of the Year by the Oklahoma Wildlife Federation in 1975. Notably, he was selected for inclusion in several editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, and Who’s Who in the World.
