Alongside his role with Andy B. Golf, Mr. Brewer is the founder of the Civil Service Basketball League in New York, president, correspondent, and fundraiser with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, and freelance writer for African American Golfer Digest, with which he has published eight articles. However, the highlights of his career have always been the work he has done on behalf of others, particularly the children.

Inducted into the Multi-Ethnic Sports Hall of Fame, Mr. Brewer is the proud father of two children and five grandchildren. Looking toward the future, he hopes to continue playing golf competitively and mentoring others. In addition, he would like to write a book.
