Elvin Turner, retired assistant principal at Cincinnati Public Schools, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in education management.

With nearly 30 years of professional experience, Mr. Turner retired from Cincinnati Public Schools in 1993, having been an assistant principal since 1990. Previously, he served as a principal from 1978 to 1990, an assistant principal from 1972 to 1978, a special education coordinator form 1969 to 1972, and a special education teacher from 1965 to 1969. In addition, Mr. Turner was the president of the Kiwanis Club from 1978 to 1979.

Mr. Turner began his career as a student at Knoxville College, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry in 1962. He continued his studies at the University of Cincinnati, earning a Master of Education in 1968. He has also completed postgraduate coursework with Kensington University and Nova University. Mr. Turner holds a permanent certificate, a secondary principal, and a teacher certificate in the state of Ohio.

  1. Have the extreme pleasure of knowing Mr. Turner. He is still very much an educator. His field of expertise these day is “The Holy Bible”. He is very knowledgeable and an excellent teacher. Not only does he have wisdom but he live as an example of his teaching!!! Truly a wonderful human being. What a beautiful world this would be to have more individuals such as Mr. Elvin Turner.
