Ann Marie Antenen, President at Ann Antenen Restoration, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in restoration services.
The president of Ann Antenen Restoration since 1980, Ms. Antenen has experienced a lifelong and fulfilling career in the arts and architecture. Prior to her current role, she was an art teacher with the YMCA of Hamilton, OH, from 1959 to 1971 and a designer with Dave Maxfield Senior, Architect, from 1949 to 1951. In addition, she formerly served as a sales and training associate at Shillito’s from 1948 to 1949 and a market researcher at Proctor & Gamble from 1946 to 1948.
Alongside her primary endeavors, Ms. Antenen has been acting on the board of directors of the Ohio Historical Society at the Elisha Morgan Farm Mansion since 1995 and on the Butler County Court House Restoration Committee since 1994. Locally, she has also been the nominating chairman of the Butler County Alcoholism Council since 1978, having previously held the role of chairman of the Fine Arts Fundraising Drive of Butler County for three years and Mayor of Hamilton for one year.
Ms. Antenen has found much success with her written works as well, having been an author of CHAPS News since 1984. As such, in an effort to remain abreast of changes within her field, she maintains affiliation with several societies and organizations, including on the board of directors of the National Trust for Historical Preservation of the Ohio Historical Society and as president of the Citizens for Historical and Preservation Services. From 1992 to 1995, she was also the president of the Ohio Preservation Alliance.
In recognition of her exceptional contributions to her industry, she was the recipient of the Historical Preservation Award in 1985 and the Award of Merit from the Miami Purchase Association in 1984. Notably, she has been included in the 24th and 25th editions of Who’s Who in the Midwest. Ms. Antenen holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati.
