Enitra D. Claybrooks, DM, PHR, Human Resources Specialist at the U.S. Department of Defense, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in human resources and management.

As an undergraduate student at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Dr. Claybrooks was a part of the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice and corrections, she was commissioned to the U.S. Army as an adjutant general officer from 2000 to 2005. After her honorable discharge, Dr. Claybrooks attended Webster University and obtained a Master of Arts in human resources management and services in 2009. Just this year, she received a Doctor of Management in organizational leadership and development from the University of Phoenix.

Since 2008, Dr. Claybrooks has been a human resources specialist with the U.S. Department of Defense. A certified Professional of Human Resources, she formerly served as a policy service specialist and total loss claims representative at the United Services Automobile Association from 1993 to 2008. In her spare time, she is a volunteer with Best Buddies International, a nonprofit organization that employs volunteers to create opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Attributing her success to her faith in God, Dr. Claybrooks hopes to become an Adjunct Instructor teaching human resource management, leadership, organizational development, and management courses. In addition, she aspires to start her own nonprofit organization or become a member of an already-established organization, transitioning to the role of director. Dr. Claybrooks is passionate about disability rights, and she would like to delve into a career where she can help intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals find meaningful employment based on their skill set.
