Andrew D. Findlay, President at Semilab USA, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the semiconductor industry.

Mr. Findlay, an accomplished and esteemed figure in the semiconductor field, has been the director of global sales and president of Semilab USA since 2009 and 2016, respectively, having previously lent his expertise as the general manager of Semilab SDI LLC from 2009 to 2013 and vice president of Semiconductor Diagnostics, a predecessor of Semilab USA, from 1996 to 2009. Prior to these appointments, he was a product specialist at Metron Technology and general manager of the Singapore office and process manager of the Asia region at Metron Semiconductors Asia Ltd. between 1990 and 1996.

To prepare for his illustrious career, Mr. Findlay pursued a formal education at the Hertford College with Oxford University, earning a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in physics in 1989 and 1995, respectively. During this time, he was an officer of the University Cadetship with the Royal Navy for five years. He has additionally co-authored 25 technical papers in his field.

Alongside his primary endeavors, Mr. Findlay is passionate about physical health and fitness, having been involved in a number of sports throughout his career. He has completed four marathons and numerous short distance races, and he qualified for the Boston Marathon in 2017. In addition, he has participated in five national championships and three half-Ironman events. Interested in sailing, skiing, swimming, rowing and running, he was formerly the secretary of the Oxford University Lightweight Rowing Club, and the president and captain of the Hertford College Boat Club. He maintains affiliation with the USA Triathlon Association, United States Masters Swimming, and the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club.

In recognition of his exceptional accomplishments, he was deemed Best Cadet and won the Combined Cadet Force Prize. In addition, the Parents Association Shield named him Best All-Rounder. Attributing his success to the influence of his mentors, Jack Lagowski and Professor Lubek Jastrzebski, he considers the highlight of his career to be his promotion to president of Semilab USA.
