Paul Edward Chevalier, Retired Retail Executive and Lawyer, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in law.

All of his life, Mr. Chevalier was told he would make an excellent lawyer. He decided to take their advice, and, with the help of his mentors, became acquainted with employment law and labor and union relations. Mr. Chevalier used that experience to become the director of labor relations for Carter Hawley Hale Stores, Inc., in 1972. After two years in the role, he was promoted to vice president of employee relations. He rose again in 1986 to the role of senior vice president of employee relations, where he spent the remainder of his time with the corporation. In 1993, Mr. Chevalier decided to step out on his own as the president of the Chevalier Consulting Group. He remained there until 1993.

To enhance his professional standing, Mr. Chevalier earned an AMP from the School of Business at Harvard University in 1979, an MBA and an LLB from Columbia University in 1966, and a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University in 1960. He also became admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States and the state of Illinois. Between 1966 and 1972, he served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserve, and between 1960 and 1966, he served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Chevalier kept in touch with his peers and community through affiliation with the Harvard Business School Association, the National Retail Federation, and the California Retailers Association.
