Mr. H. Allen Benowitz spent over 40 years providing court reporting, video, and litigation support services to the South Florida and national legal and business communities. Since 2002, Mr. Benowitz has been president and owner of H-AllenArt.com, Inc. Prior to this, he had served as vice president of Veritext Florida Reporting Company from 1998 to 2009, and from 1989 to 2009 he served as owner and president of Worldwide Videoconferencing Corp. He was also the president of H. Allen Benowitz & Associates Inc. for 30 years.

Mr. Benowitz originally became involved in his profession after being mistaken for a news reporter. At the time, he was going to become a dental technician. Between high school and part-time work in a dental lab, he would sit in the back row of a trial courtroom in the Supreme Court Building on Jay Street in Brooklyn, because it was air-conditioned. One day, an attorney and court reporter approached him about what he was going to say in the newspapers. They invited him out to lunch, and to their chagrin, they learned he was not a reporter, and realized the impact of the silent man’s role in the courtroom. After this, he took all the necessary aptitude tests, scoring very highly, and his court reporting career was launched. He also won a scholarship to business college as a court reporter.

H. Allen BenowitzMr. Benowitz was the founding president of the first video conference network for the legal profession nationally, Legal Image Network Communications. As a photographer, Mr. Benowitz’s works have been recognized worldwide, with invitations to photo journals all over. He was even invited by King Mohammed VI of Morocco to photograph his country’s annual festival, Moussem de Tan-Tan. His works have received a number of awards and honors; one of his works, ‘Cigar Lady’ received a total of seven awards, and displayed at the Musee du Louvre in 2015. In 2014, Mr. Benowitz was named a ‘Top Emerging Artist’ by Art Business News.
