Dudley Morrison, Retired Insurance Company Executive at Risk Management Services, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in insurance management.
With more than 30 years of professional experience, Mr. Morrison is an esteemed insurance professional who most recently served Risk Management Services as a manager of operations from 1990 until his retirement from the industry in 1995. Prior to this illustrious role, he was a manager of technical services at North Carolina League Municipalities from 1987 to 1995, a consultant in management at State Capital Insurance Company from 1985 to 1987, and a manager of the Pollution Liability Insurance Association from 1982 to 1984. Previously, he was the vice president of American Mutual Reinsurance Company from 1976 to 1984, a senior systems analyst of Allstate Insurance Company from 1969 to 1976, and a senior underwriter of Travelers Insurance Company from 1962 to 1969.
Civically, Mr. Morrison was the former president and treasurer of the Willow Green Condominium Association from 1979 to 1984, as well as on the board of directors of Chase House, Inc., from 1970 to 1984. Likewise, he maintained affiliation with the Packard Automobile Classics, Inc., as a treasurer from 2006 to 2016, having been a trustee since 1970. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University and an Associate Risk Management Certification.
Mr. Morrison attributes his success to his mentor, John Whitney McDonald, an attorney from Providence, RI, who took Mr. Morrison under his wing while he was studying at Brown University. Mr. McDonald encouraged Mr. Morrison to study for his comprehensives in college, and he passed with distinction. In his spare time, Mr. Morrison enjoys restoring antique cars, singing in his church choir, and Scottish country dancing.
