Equally passionate about her community, Ms. Burdick conducts fundraisers for suicide prevention and donates and attends fundraisers for Kids and Horses, a local nonprofit organization for troubled youth. Commencing her career on Long Island in New York, she ran the Equitation Lodge Summer Day Camp and Riding School and the Thomas School of Horsemanship for 15 years prior to relocating to California to jumpstart her company. She has been certified as a women-owned small business by the federal government.
Ms. Burdick holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration and management from Skidmore College. In recognition of her exceptional accomplishments in excavation and community service, she was honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.
