Robert Ralph, Clergyman at New Brooklyn United Methodist Church, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in religious service.
Passionate about serving others and affecting positive change, Rev. Ralph has dedicated his career to serving as a pastor. His occupation has enabled him to teach others about the word of the Lord and inspire all whom he encounters to lead lives of goodness. Rev. Ralph has been ordained in the Methodist Church since 1982 and holds numerous degrees including a Doctor of Ministry from the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH, and a Doctor of Education from Century University. Rev. Ralph has served as the pastor for the New Brooklyn United Methodist Church since 2011, previously holding the position of pastor for Chews United Methodist Church in Glendora, NJ.
Prior to his time with the Church, Rev. Ralph worked for the US Postal Service in Olathe, KS, from 1971 to 1980. It was during this time when he felt the call of the Lord to serve others. He has worked with the US Military, serving as a commissioned officer and chaplain for the US Navy from 1985 to 2005. In addition to his responsibilities as a pastor, Rev. Ralph has been the president for the board of directors for the Neighborhood Center in Camden, NJ, as well as a trustee and board president for the Council on Alcohol and Drug Education in Trenton, NJ.
Rev. Ralph has been the pastor of two large churches and feels these communities grew while he was there. He takes immense pride in his students’ success and keeps in touch with them. Just as his family members before him, Rev. Ralph believes in the American Dream and does all he can to help others achieve it. He has officiated over 1,000 weddings in his career and, true to his caring nature, will visit families during the loss of loved ones and other crises. He attributes his success to his wife, Carla M. Ralph, who has been his biggest supporter throughout his career, and to Rev. Warren Light, who positively influenced him.
Rev. Ralph has been recognized for his immense success by numerous organizations. He has been inducted to the Point Pleasant Bureau High School Hall of Fame in 2018, received the Navy Commendation Medal in 2004 and has been named the Pastor of the Year by the Northwest Ohio District of St. Mary’s from 1981 to 1982. Additionally, Rev. Ralph has been presented The Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and has been featured in editions of Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World.
