Dorothy Anderson-Faller, Training Services Executive, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in international social work and sustainable living.

When Ms. Anderson-Faller started out, there weren’t many professions available for women. There was teaching, nursing, and social work, and you had to choose one. She had her degrees in social work and sociology. She was interested in working with people and helping them. In her career, she has accomplished just that, helping many people all over the world. The largest accomplishment for Ms. Anderson-Faller was when she worked with 400 national professionals in training programs in the United States, largely uplifting the lives of the people in the Cleveland International Program. Prior to retiring, she served as the president of her company, Faller International Training from 2002 to 2013. She has previously provided her services for Council International Programs USA, the Cleveland International Program, the Ohio Department of Public Welfare, and the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. Earlier in her career, Ms. Anderson-Faller worked as a child welfare worker and social service consultant.

To prepare for a career in these fields, Ms. Anderson-Faller earned an MS in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University in 1975 and an AB from the University of Illinois in 1960. She has received many awards for her work, including being inducted as an Honorary Life Member to the Cleveland Rotary in 2003, receiving a grant from the Community Involvement in the Criminal Justice Administration in Romania from 1999-2001, being inducted as an Honorary Life Member with the Fulbright Association in 1999 and being recognized as the Social Worker of the Year of the Cleveland Unit with the International Federation of Social Workers in 1986.
