Most recently serving as a manufacturing training administrator for Loral InfraRed & Imaging Systems, Inc., in Lexington, KY, from 1989 to 1991, he previously acted as a senior human resources development specialist from 1986 to 1989 and an organizational development specialist for Honeywell Electro-Optics Division in Wilmington, EW, from 1985 to 1986. Prior to these roles, he was a management development specialist for Honeywell Information Systems in Billerica, MA, from 1980 to 1985, a program director for Care About Now, Inc., in Chelsea, MA, from 1977 to 1979, and a consultant administrator and international training consultant in Burbank, CA, from 1971 to 1975. Likewise, he was a regional coordinator for the Educational Systems Corporation in Washington, DC, from 1968 to 1971 and a basic education consultant for McGraw-Hill Book Company in New York City from 1967 to 1968. He commenced his career as an instructor for the Sly Park Job Corps Center in Pollock Pines, CA, from 1965 to 1967 and a lieutenant in the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964.
To prepare for his career, Mr. Anderson pursued a formal education at Hobart College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1959. He subsequently completed postgraduate coursework at the University of Minnesota Law School in 1960. The author of two books, “A Program of Instruction in Reading” and “A Program of Instruction in Preparation for a Job,” he has been affiliated with numerous organizations throughout his career, including Musicians of the Old Post Road, the International Living President’s Associates, the Scandinavian Forum, the American-Scandinavian Association, Theta Delta Chi and the Ancient Order of the Deep.
As a testament to his professional success, Mr. Anderson has accrued multiple accolades, including the Founder’s Award from the Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center in 2010 and the Distinguished Service Award for Lifetime Service to Hobart College in 2009. In addition, he has been highlighted in the 26th edition of Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, the 12th edition of Who’s Who in the World, and the 21st through 23rd editions of Who’s Who in the East.
