Paula B. Klassie Cecil, Writer, Management Consultant, Educator and Publisher, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in management and writing.
Amassing more than 50 years of professional excellence, Ms. Cecil has been serving as a consultant in her field since 1974, having previously been a sales training analyst for Xerox in Rochester, NY, from 1973 to 1974. Prior to this appointment, she was a marketing support manager for Trendata Corporation in Sunnyvale, CA, from 1972 to 1973. She commenced her career as a marketing systems representation for IBM from 1966 to 192. Alongside her primary endeavors, she has also been an instructor for Cabrillo College since 1991, having formerly acted in the same role for Hartnell College.
Throughout her career, Ms. Cecil has authored multiple books, including “Office Automation: Concepts and Applications, Word Processing in the Modern Office (First and Second Editions),” “Management of Word Programming Operations,” “The IBM Displaywriter,” and “Power Typing in Today’s Office.” She has maintained affiliation with the Sigma chapter of Alpha Chi Omega, the Association of Office Systems, and Mystery Writers of America.
Holding a Bachelor of Arts from Iowa State University and Master of Arts from the University of the Redlands, Ms. Cecil always knew she wanted to be a writer when she got older. Beginning writing in grade school, she has been writing for the duration of her life. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, swimming, playing bridge and running. Notably, she once scored three holes-in-one during her time spent as a golfer.
