Drawing upon more than 55 years of industry experience, Dr. Catacosinos is a prominent figure in the management industry who has served in myriad roles throughout his versatile career. Most recently holding the role of senior partner at the Laurel Hill Advisory Group, LLC, in 2007, he previously served as chairman, president and chief executive officer of TNP Enterprises, Inc., in 2000 and managing partner of Laurel Hill Capital Partners LLC in 1998. Prior to these appointments, he served National Grid as chairman and chief executive officer from 1984 to 1998, Applied Digital Data Systems, Inc., as chairman, chief executive officer and president between 1969 and 1982, and the Brookhaven National Laboratory as the assistant director of business management and administration from 1956 to 1969. He commenced his career as the assistant editor of 20th Century Fox in 1951.

Dr. Catacosinos holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Philosophy from New York University. Alongside his primary endeavors, he formerly served as an adjunct assistant professor at the university from 1962 to 1964, having subsequently been chairman of the board at Corometrics Medical from 1968 to 1974. Likewise, he recently held the role of advisory committee member on the policy committee on strategic planning and board of directors of the Edison Electric Institute from 1990 to 1995. He has also acted on the board of directors of Atlantic Bank, Nutraceuticals Clinical Laboratory, the First National Bank of Long Island and U.S. Life.

Affiliated with the Metropolitan Club of New York City, the Sands Point Golf Club and the Meadow Brook Golf Club, Dr. Catacosinos is equally passionate about his community, having been a trustee of the Polytechnic Institute of New York for four years and the national chairman of the American Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Child for two years. Likewise, he has maintained involvement with the Stony Brook Foundation, the Suffolk county chapter of the American Cancer Society, the Brookhaven Town Industrial Commission, the Long Island Association and New York Alliance.

As a testament to his success, Dr. Catacosinos was named a Distinguished Alumnus by New York University. He has been highlighted in multiple editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the East and Who’s Who in the South and Southwest.
