He began his professional career as a motion picture director with Allstate Insurance Company in Skokie, IL, in 1958. Two years later, he began working as the advertising manager of Federal Life Company for three years before moving to the Robert Deitz Company as their account executive until 1967. During this time, he has also been on the advisory committee for Lewis University in Lockport, IL.
Prior to pursuing an education, Mr. Quirini earned an Evans Scholarship in 1951 and was drafted into the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. While enlisted, he was part of the Third Armored Division in Germany, where he spent one year working in public information. There, he started a division newspaper and conducted numerous interviews. Upon returning to the United States, he went on to obtain a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1968. Throughout his career, he has also been active with the Chicago Ad Club, the American Association of Advertising Agencies, and Sigma Delta Chi. He is listed in the 24th edition of Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.
