Drawing on 47 years of practicing law, Mr. Levine continues to thrive as the vice president and senior counsel of Comerica Bank. He joined the institution in 2007, and specializes in general banking law, banking regulations and operations, and consumer banking. His main focus, however, is domestic banking. Mr. Levine enjoys being able to help people solve problems and he likes the fast-paced nature of the field. Regulations and laws are constantly changing, and Mr. Levine finds keeping up with everything fun. He intends to continue working for as long as he is able.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Levine garnered experience as a senior vice president and general counsel for Center Bank, Banamex-Citibank, and the California Commerce Bank, a subsidiary of Banamex USA Bancorp, among other roles. He also studied at the University of Denver, California State University, and Uppsala University in Sweden, earned a Bachelor of Arts from California State University and a JD from Southwestern University, and completed postgraduate coursework at Yale University. He is admitted to practice before the state of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
