Karen Foster, Officer Manager at Futurity First and Independent Consultant , has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Medicare consultation and Social Security optimization strategies.

Ms. Foster started out in the industry auditing procedures for licensing compliance maintained for the agency throughout the United States. Inspired by her colleagues and the candor of the company’s president, she moved to Houston to assist with the integration of several small agencies purchased into one large agency. After several years, she started working directly with compliance assisting in writing compliance manuals.

Currently, she is responsible for four satellite locations in the U.S. assisting Managing Directors and Advisors, monitors compliance, reviews and processes policies prior to submission, conducts interviews for new Advisors and assists with on-boarding. She speaks at workshops and conducts one-on-one Medicare and Social Security consultations for clients as well as compiles structured income plans and Social Security optimization reports

Ms. Foster has a BS in computer science from Canbourne University in England and continued at the institution to receive an MBA. Ms. Foster holds insurance licenses in several states, her resident state is Texas and has a CISR (certified insurance service representative) designation through the National Alliance Board of Governors and maintains her professional affiliation with the NAIC.

Ms. Foster is a certified teacher studying through Texas State University’s Office of Education in Business. She created the ATP (Advanced Training Program) for computers writing and designing the curriculum while working at Gary Jobs Corps Center in San Marcos, TX, which is run by the Department of Labor and monitored by the Texas Educational Foundation.

Outside of work, Ms. Foster enjoys the arts and is a former quartet singer, having toured with Bobby Johnson Productions across Louisiana and Texas. Her civic involvement includes Habitat for Humanity, Communities in Schools, Candlelighters and volunteer work for overseas troops. Ms. Foster attributes her success to the fact that each time she made a transition, the individuals she worked with took her under their wing taking the time to mentor her.
