Stanley Glick, Accountant, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in public accounting.
As early as high school, Mr. Glick knew he was destined for a career in accounting. In this venture, he has preferred to stay with smaller accounting firms as opposed to larger ones. With a keen attention to detail and dedication to providing high-quality services, he has helped his clients since the mid-1950s. He would like to be remembered as a highly regarded accountant, as someone who knows the technical work, and able to service customers properly and exceed their needs.
After earning a BBA from Baruch College, Mr. Glick began working for HS Merman & Co. and then with Buchbinder, Stein & Co. In 1958, he was made a partner at Frederick & Goglio Co. and remained in this role for the next decade. From 1968 to 1971, he started the next phase of his career as a controller for Boxwood Associates. After garnering experience in this venture, Mr. Glick briefly filled the space of supervising senior accountant at Brout, Isaacs & Co. and then as controller for Hall-Brooke Foundation Inc. From 1973 to 1977, he once again served in the role of the controller at the Suburban Carting Corp. He has continued serving his client’s accounting needs as an accountant since 1977.
Outside of his work, Mr. Glick has maintained professional affiliation with a variety of organizations. These include Nano Viriceides, the Bernard M. Baruch College Alumni Association and the Connecticut Society of CPAs. He has also been involved with the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Tax Professionals and the Westport Rotary Club. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
