Jay DiBacco, President at Wealthmaker$, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the financial industry.

Drawing upon more than 40 years of professional excellence, Mr. DiBacco is a prominent figure in the financial industry who has been serving Wealthmaker$ as president since 2009. Prior to this illustrious role, he served Ohio National Financial Services as regional vice president from 2005 to 2009, DiBacco & Associates as president and chief executive officer from 1999 to 2005, and High Plains Financial Services, Inc., as a senior associate from 1985 to 1999. Commencing his career in finance as an advanced underwriter for Security Mutual Nebraska and sales associate at Panhandle Co-op between 1980 and 1999, he previously worked in education as an instrumental music teacher at Gering Public Schools and St. Agnes Academy between 1976 and 1979.

A registered principal, life underwriter training council fellow and certified senior advisor, Mr. DiBacco was the founding president of the Panhandle Estate Planning Council in 1982 and has served on multiple advisory boards and committees in his local community. Briefly acting as an adjunct faculty member at Western Nebraska Community College, he was also the district commissioner of Longs Peak Council with the Boy Scouts of America in the early 1980s. In addition, he was involved with the MBA Catalyst Group with the University of Nebraska Panhandle Station in the early 1990s and was active on the emergency committee for the Amateur Radio Emergency Service for 15 years.

To prepare for his career, Mr. DiBacco pursued formal education at the University of Wyoming, where he earned a Bachelor of Music with a certification in education in 1976. While serving in the United States Army, he earned a diploma from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College in 1994, followed by a Master of Business Administration from Almeda University in 2003. Retiring from the military in 2004 as a lieutenant commander, he received a Decorated Meritorious Service Medal, an Army Commendation Medal with an Oak Leaf Cluster, an American Spirit Honor Medal, and an Ancient & Honorable Order of St. Barbara. He was also the two-time winner of the Chief of Staff Army Award for Excellence and was named Commander of the Year by the State of Nebraska.

In an effort to remain abreast of recent developments within the industry and the military, Mr. DiBacco has maintained affiliation with numerous professional organizations, including the American Legion, the National Guard Association of the United States, and the Military Officers Association of America, the latter two entities he has held lifetime memberships. In addition, he was the former regional safety officer of the Society for Creative Anachronism, a member of the General Agents and Managers Association International, and a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, among other societies.

In light of his amazing accomplishments, Mr. DiBacco has been the recipient of the General Agents and Managers Association International Management Award since 2015 and the National Manager Award from the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors in 2005. Named Agent of the Year by the Panhandle Life Underwriters Association in 1991, he has also received numerous accolades from the Boy Scouts of America, including the Scouter’s Key Award and the Scouter’s Training Award. Notably, he has been highlighted in several editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World.
