Angelo Anthony Sedacca, Internal Affairs Bureau Sergeant at the New York City Police Department, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in law enforcement.
A sergeant for the Internal Affairs Bureau with the New York City Police Department since 2004, Mr. Sedacca draws upon 20 years of experience in law enforcement, having commenced his career as an officer in the 40th precinct from 1999 to 2002 and detective for the Internal Affairs Bureau from 2002 to 2004. He also briefly served as a sergeant in the 42nd precinct in 2004 before taking on his current role. Alongside his primary endeavors, he also acted as an adjunct professor of theology and French at Fordham University between 2001 and 2006. Civically involved as well, he has been a Eucharistic minister and lector since 1993.
Highly educated, Mr. Sedacca earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees in French and Italian studies from Fordham University in 1993, followed by a Master of Arts in French language and civilization from New York University in 1995. Thereafter, he obtained a Master of Arts in religious studies, summa cum laude, from St. Joseph’s Seminary in 2003. He was also a master’s candidate in theology at the seminary as well. Demonstrating versatility in the field, he is a certified notary public.
In light of his myriad accomplishments, Mr. Sedacca was elected a fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society and Royal Society of the Arts, and he was named a Decorated Hereditary Knight in the Royal Order of the Engabu and in the Royal Order of the Omujwaara Kondo. Likewise, he was named an officer in the Most Venerable Order St. John, a officiale in the Royal Order of Merit of Savoy, a Knight Grand Cross in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre, and a Knight of Magistral Grace in the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. Impressively, he also briefly served as an honorary research professor at the Complutense University of Madrid. He was also selected for inclusion in several editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the East and Who’s Who in the World.
