Drawing upon more than 40 years of practical experience in real estate, investments and business management, Mr. Yarus is a prominent entrepreneur who has been serving as president of Diversified Capital Corporation in Miami Beach, FL, since 1982. Alongside this role, he has been a registered investment manager, as well as a managing partner of Xtra Storage Companies and International Wine Storage in Miami, FL. Prior to these illustrious appointments, he served the beverage division of General Cinema Corporations as the assistant to the president from 1978 to 1981. He commenced his career as a psychologist and administrator at Framingham Day Hospital in Massachusetts in 1972, holding the position for four years.
Equally passionate about civic outreach, Mr. Yarus has served on numerous non-profit boards, having been a director of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and the Collegiate Learning Exchange for many years. A former president of the Harvard Business School Club of South Florida, he also sits on the board of Regency Multi Family LLC. In his spare time, he enjoys mentoring younger individuals in preparation for the next generation of occupational and community leadership. He is especially proud of his son David, who serves as the founder of MLLNLL, a premier social media marketing firm. He is also immensely proud of his nephew David, the chief operating officer of his real estate investments.
Mr. Yarus notably holds a Bachelor of Science from Union College, as well as a Master of Education (where he focused his attention on community psychology) and Master of Business Administration from Harvard University (where he focused on management). As a testament to his profound success, he was featured in the 20th edition of Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, which was published in 1985.
