Earlwayne Schwarze Stumpf, Actor and Advertising Executive, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in radio, television and advertising.
In high school, Mr. Stumpf’s guidance counselor told him to pick a different career than television because coming from a small town that would be a near impossible thing to do. Instead of abandoning the dream, Mr. Stumpf had his own television show just five years after being told that. After working in this respect for some time, he decided to go into advertising where he has since continued to flourish. Mr. Stumpf is currently the president and a commercial actor for ESSINC Communications, roles he began in 1983. Prior to that, he was a producer and program host for Station KMOX-TV and a writer for Kenrick Advertising and Gardner Advertising. Earlier in his career, he was a newswriter and video/film editor for KMOX-TV.
Mr. Stumpf prepared for his career by earning a Bachelor of Arts in speech and mass communication from Southern Illinois University in 1973. In addition to his career in the television and advertising industries, Mr. Stumpf has also been a farm manager and farmer, as well as a consumer media consultant for the St. Louis District Dairy Council. In his career, he has maintained professional affiliation with the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the St. Louis-National Agricultural-Marketing Association, the Porsche Club of America, the Sports Car Club of America and the St. Louis Agricultural-Business Club.
