Mr. Levine is highly regarded as someone who takes opportunities and turns them into success. He has met with success over the last 45 years by thinking strategically and executing effectively. Mr. Levine credits luck for his achievements; but colleagues and other industry professionals would describe his trajectory as one that has been driven by confidence, hard work, professionalism and integrity. Today, Mr. Levine leads the team at Team-Levine Holdings, LLC and Powerhouse Brokerage, dba Powerhouse, LLC, a commodities brokerage house in the oil and gas industry. The Company was established in 2012.

He offers expert advice drawn from his own experience in the field, which has been marked by numerous noteworthy events and accomplishments. Notably, in 1977, he was retained as a consultant for the NY Mercantile Exchange, a futures commodity exchange, to help them establish a heating oil futures market. His work contributed to the market ultimately becoming the most important exchange to influence petroleum prices, including gasoline for cars.

Mr. Levine entered his profession after achieving a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University in 1958 and a Master of Science from Columbia University in 1959. He served in the United States Navy for the next five years.

He took on a role working as Manager of Economics for Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, NJ, where he remained for five years before an opportunity to enter the petroleum industry came about. Intrigued by the prospect, Mr. Levin took the role of senior analyst for W.J. Levy Consultant Corporation.

He became more committed to the industry, achieving prominent roles including senior analyst for the Petroleum Industry Research Foundation, vice president of Energy Decisions Inc., executive vice president for the Energy Futures Group, and financial consultant for Merrill Lynch. Today, he serves as the chief executive officer of TeamLevine Holdings, LLC and PowerHouse Brokerage, LLC.

Committed to sharing his insights and top skills with his industry, Mr. Levine was a founder of the International Association of Energy Economics in 1978 and served as its chapter president in 1980. He has been involved in his industry as an investment company executive and petroleum economist. Mr. Levine was also an Eagle Scout for the Boy Scout of America in 1950. In recognition of his professional excellence, Mr. Levine has been the recipient of a number of industry accolades. In the early 2000s, he received an award from the International Association of Energy Economists and in 2019, Mr. Levine earned the Mark Lively Award from the National Capital Area Chapter of the U.S. Association for Energy Economists. Looking to the future, he plans to continue growing his business while saying yes to new opportunities that arise – the same way he has been doing for the last four decades.
