Rick Santella, Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in financial services.
Mr. Santella has proved that there is no obstacle too big for him to take on as he has always sought out the next challenge. He had worked as an operations manager for a while and began to feel that he needed more of a challenge. Having worked in operations, he wanted to see how the financial side operated and chose that as his next endeavor. In addition, Mr. Santella says his upbringing and family has had an influence on his career because he was always raised to be truthful, honest, ethical and with morals.
Mr. Santella started working in operations at Kidder Peabody & Company in 1980 and was later promoted to the role of operations manager. In 1988, he began his work in the financial side, joining CoreStates Financial Corporation and Wells Fargo. He worked at Wells Fargo from 1988 to 1996 and was senior vice president of Wachovia Securities from 1996 to 2008. From 2008 to 2011, he provided his skills and expertise as the senior vice president of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. Since 2011, he has served as the senior vice president and financial advisor of Morgan Stanley. Mr. Santella is grateful for his success and believes it is due in part to meaningful client interactions and mutual understanding with all whom he works with.
Throughout his career, Mr. Santella has been regarded for his work. From 2013 to 2018, he received the 5 Star Philadelphia Wealth Manager Award from Philadelphia Magazine. He was featured on the cover of Philadelphia Suburban Magazine in December 2018, and in 2008, was the recipient of the Strathmore’s Award. Mr. Santella has been aided by a number of licenses and certifications that have allowed him to deepen his work. He is licensed in Series 7, 53, 63 and 65 and has been certified in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System since 2015.
