Christopher Stranahan, Director and International Fraternal President at Foresters, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in membership-based fraternal benefits and insurance services.
Backed by more than three decades of experience, Mr. Stranahan brings a skilled background to his elected directorship position in life insurance services. In his day-to-day responsibilities, he is entrusted to serve on the fraternal committee and the investment and risk committee as well as build relationships with businesses and organizations. He also maintains contact with members in five regions, three in the United States, one in the United Kingdom and one in Canada, and act as a liaison for the western region, which has 18 branches and approximately 300,000 members. Mr. Stranahan attributes his success to his hard work, being in the right place at the right time, and ability to patiently develop relationships.
Mr. Stranahan first earned an associate’s degree in industrial engineering in 1980 and worked as an inventory and production manager at Nestlé for more than three decades. He started out at Foresters as a member and worked his way through the lodge system to his current roles. Being elected as the international fraternal president of the organization has been the highlight of his career. In addition to these endeavors, he also owned his own business, Wild Birds Unlimited, for nine years. In 2013, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Foresters. Mr. Stranahan maintains affiliation with the local Chamber of Commerce and is a Master Mason. He supports the Ronald McDonald House Charities, KaBOOM!, Inc. and the Children’s Network.
