As a young man, Mr. Friedheim earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arkansas in 1956. He was called to active duty as a lieutenant in the United States Army in 1957, where he served until his honorable discharge in 1961, then worked as the director of public relations for the American Personnel and Guidance Association until 1966. Mr. Friedheim transitioned to a role as executive vice president of the American Society of Medical Technology, where he remained until 1976. He then started working as the senior vice president of Campbell Communications in Bethesda, Maryland. In 1978, Mr. Friedheim earned an honorary Doctor of Business Administration from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI, and went on to earn another honorary doctorate from Central New England College of Business and Technology in Worcester, MA, in 1984, when he became the, when he became the senior vice president at Campbell Communications in Dallas, Texas.
Additionally, Mr. Friedheim worked as the senior vice president of King Education Services from 1984 to 1989, and the president of the ESS College of Business from 1984 to 2001. In 2001, he began working as the vice president of public relations for the College of American Services, and founded his own company, Education Systems & Solutions LLC. In 2011, Mr. Friedheim left his position at the College of American Services to work as an educational consultant. He also worked as an editor for the Texas Times, from 1994 to 2004. In addition to his professional successes, he has been a member of myriad organizations, including the Metropolitan Association of Career Schools, the Career College Association, the American Association of Higher Education, the National Business Education Association, and the Career Colleges and Schools of Texas board of directors, among many more. Mr. Friedheim’s experience and expertise as an educational consultant and administrator solidify him as an elite member of his field.
