Michael Einhorn, Retired State Auditor for the State of New Jersey, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in accounting and taxation.
Mr. Einhorn was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1952. As a student, he attended Quinnipiac College in Hamden, Connecticut, earning a Bachelor of Science in accounting in 1974. He dove into his career as a tax professional, working as an accounting assistant for the State of New Jersey in Trenton from 1976 to 1981. In 1982, Mr. Einhorn earned a Master of Business Administration from Monmouth College in West Long Branch, New Jersey. In addition to his work as a tax professional, he was a member of the East Brunswick Recycling Committee from 1983 to 1984, and has been a member of the Knights of Pythias since 1989. The Knights of Pythias is an esteemed fraternal organization which has had many famous members, including the late Louis Armstrong and William McKinley.
Continuing his work for the State of New Jersey, Mr. Einhorn became a taxation auditor III in 1981. He worked this position for seven years, eventually rising to the rank of taxation auditor II in 1988. He remained in this position for nearly twenty years, until his retirement in 2015. In addition, he is a member of the Association of Government Accountants, an organization for which he served as assistant membership chairman of the Trenton chapter from 1985 to 1986. As a testament to his success, expertise, and experience as a tax professional for the State of New Jersey, Mr. Einhorn was featured in the 25th edition of Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.
