Janet Beattie, Consultant for the Catholic Charities, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in executive leadership.
With nearly 70 years of professional experience, Ms. Beattie has been a consultant with Catholic Charities since 1992. Prior to obtaining her current role, she was an administrative director at Deloitte and Touche from 1989 to 1991, having been director of communications with Touche Ross International from 1982 to 1984, administrator director of Touch and Ross and Company from 1978 to 1989, and a corporate secretary with Touche and Ross and Company from 1964 to 1982. Earlier in her career, she served as a paralegal with Petit, Olin, and Safeblade from 1954 to 1962 and was a teacher with the Watertown Public Schools from 1950 to 1952.
Ms. Beattie first pursued an education with Mount Marty College, where she earned an Associate of Arts in 1949. She later studied at St. Xavier College, completing postgraduate coursework from 1955 to 1957. She later studied at Wright College, pursuing postgraduate coursework in 1965. Throughout her career, Ms. Beattie has been recognized for her contributions. She is the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award to Church and Community and was named to the Academy of Woman Achievers by the YWCA.
