Linda LaGanga, Author, Consultant, and Vice President of Quality and Informatics at Mental Health Partners, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the fields of business and operations research, and mental health.
Dr. LaGanga earned a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics and computer science, with high distinction, from the University of Rhode Island in 1977. She continued her education, earning a Master of Science in operations research and statistics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1979, and a Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling, with high distinction, from Rivier College in 1994. Dr. LaGanga went on to earn a PhD in business and operations research from the University of Colorado in 2006. She was certified as a mental health first aid instructor by the National Council for Behavioral Health in 2011 and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 1996. In 1993, she began working as a mental health therapist, and in 1994, she became the director of quality systems and operational excellence at the Mental Health Center of Denver, where she worked for 20 years, until 2014.
Dr. LaGanga rose to the rank of vice president of quality systems and operational excellence, and in 2015, she started as the vice president of quality and informatics for Mental Health Partners, where she remains to this day. In addition, she has worked as an independent author in her field, publishing the first and second volumes of “Management Skills for Clinicians,” working as an ad-hoc reviewer and editorial board member, and contributing a variety of articles to professional journals. Throughout her career, she has received myriad awards and has maintained memberships to a variety of professional organizations, including the Institute of Operations Research and Management Sciences, and the Decision Sciences Institute, among many others. As a testament to her success and experience, Dr. LaGanga has been featured in the 28th edition of Who’s Who of American Women, the eighth edition of Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, as well as multiple editions of Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, and Who’s Who in America.
