Jason Sayre, President at Platinum Pest Solutions, Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of business.
Harboring a desire to be successful since he was 18, Mr. Sayre has read over 300 books to keep himself motivated and made every effort to put that desire out into the universe. He entered the business after working for a restoration company where one of his customers was the Chicago Housing Authority. Although he had no experience in pest control at the time, Mr. Sayre was asked by the manager to help get rid of bed bugs and he took on the task, leading him into what would become a successful business venture.
While taking coursework in general studies at Prairie State College, Mr. Sayre worked as a mill attendant at Chicago Heights Steel in 1998. He then found success as an equity trader with Kingstree from 2005 to 2006, while also excelling as a trade checker with the Chicago Board of Trade, a position he held from 2004 to 2007. Currently, Mr. Sayre is the president of his pest control company, Platinum Pest Solutions, which he started after leaving a job at a restoration company and attending bed bug university.
Living by his personal motto to always do things for the right reasons, he is the founder of Friends of Recovery, an organization that supports those who are recovering from addiction as they work through separate treatment programs. Notably, he has been featured in an article for The Daily Harold in Chicago for his impressive entrance into the pest control business. Starting with just himself and two partners, Mr. Sayre’s business has grown to about 85 employees, 50 trucks, and millions in sales per year. To remain knowledgeable on any changes or news in the business, he is an active member of the National Pest Management Association.
