Mr. Anton’s father was a World War II veteran that used the GI Bill to get his degree in physical education from New York University. His father and brother had a small textile business in New York City that sold fiber and thread for manufacturing companies of graduation caps and gowns. Mr. Anton’s father began his career in the textile business in 1951 and started to expand over time. Because he liked science and math growing up, Mr. Anton received a Bachelor of Science in textile engineering in 1973 from the Philadelphia College of Textile and Science. A year later, he started going to night school at Fairleigh Dickinson University to receive his MBA. It was a great time for the textile industry. With the beginning of computer technology taking over, embroidery was one of the first industries to become computerized, which Mr. Anton capitalized on with his business acumen. As a textile company executive for 35 years of his career, he built a small company to a large manufacturing company.

Mr. Anton’s greatest achievement of his career besides raising four daughters, was bringing a business that was primarily a marketing and sales company, to a vertical manufacturing company and selling the products all over the world. Starting his professional career as a salesman with Robinson-Anton Textile Company in 1973 proved to be the perfect choice for Mr. Anton because he grew with the company. He stayed with the company until 2007 when he moved on to become a real estate executive. While with Robinson-Anton Textile Company, he moved up to vice president and president. He also branched out and became the president of Arrow Spinning Company, Incorporated from 1985 to 1989 and vice president to president of the Bloomsburg Dye Company from 1984 to 2005. From 1990 to 2005, Mr. Anton was also the president of R.A. Manufacturing. As a testament to his success, Mr. Anton has been listed in multiple editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the East, Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
